How To Choose The Right Brugmansia Cutting.
I rooted mine from a cutting in soil with some protein around 3 months ago, and its doing pretty great so far. A flower bud grew last week but i guess it isnt tall or strong enough to open it cause just the other day the bud fell on the dirt
Thank you!
@@thefullers1927 you're welcome
That looked like a hatchling not the mama
All you can see is part of the tail in this video.
TY for this info. Was digging up the remnants from have a huge stump ground and found a clutch… well, I found 13 of them. Did this jar trick and will finish the rest around them. Will wait at least 40 days before checking on them and finish cleaning that area.
@@highlandmary33 you can see if the eggs are viable by using a light like candling chicken eggs to see how far along the eggs are.
Very interesting.....I saw blue tail skinks in my yard...This info is good to kno...TU..🙂
You probably have several nest around. I rarely find them but it's always cool when I do
I heard if you move the eggs they won’t hatch unfortunately.
@@janiebrooks7548 fortunately that information is wrong. All of these hatched watch the updated video.
Just saw the updated video on these. Great job! I was surprised to see they rooted because they looked like last years old growth.
Thank you. It's best to use the old growth instead of the green new growth.
Bug over there dancing man
Hi can you tell me do you keep water in the tray just above the holes in the container continuously for 8-10 weeks or do you you do just fill the tray with water for a period of time and allow it to evaporate? Thank you! Karen
Hi I leave the water in the trays all the time until I plant them out. Just have to keep any eye of for any damaged cutting and take them out or they will rot.
Muy hermosa soy amante delas plamtas
Great video! I see you have each ‘seed pod’ soaking in groups, in a rubber tub. Is that to not cause a mess, or do you have water in the bottom to let them constantly soak? Thanks
Also, what is the green stuff coming out of the top of the cutting
It's new growth.
Lol, it looks like fur
Great accurate video about brugmansia. Thank you. There is an S in the name that I think you are missing.
Why does the title say Pierce????
Pieris japonica / the Japanese andromeda.
Thumbs down for no update

thank you buddy you've got a new follower ❤
Can you graft cut japonica cuttings the same way your propagate the cuttings
My cuttings lost all their newely grown leaves once potted in soil from water.
Goofy this is not a video. Video have not been made in 20 years or u have VHS. This is a recording yo.
Greetings from Pensacola Florida- love how you get right to it instead of 20 min of a bunch of talking. Love it. Just planted seeds 2 days ago and they are already visible tiny seedlings
Love your channel- you get right to it without all the talk like a lot of people do. I just subscribed!
Have you ever heard of plastic gloves to garden shame on you especially making a video
Thanks so much for quick reply
Great video,I started some cutting last October but they still haven’t rooted maybe I have them in to much water there are green shoots growing out
Hey thanks for watching. The water could be a little to cool you could add a heat pad under them to help promote root growth. Light cycles also play a part in plant growth. I would try to make sure they have at least 12hr of light. Not direct sunlight because that is harsh for plants trying to root. I hope this helps. Thanks again
Not sasanqua but japonica!
I'm gonna try with cannabis cuttings
Where’s your follow up on this video
No one cares
Great video, thank you do you sell cuttings?
Most people aren't cloning angel trumpet in an rdwc set up.
Most people don't clone thousands at a time like we do. We do this as a business not just a few plants in a flower bed. We have to go the easiest route possible when cloning so many. Dirt just can compare to this setup.
@@TheSeedExchange I feel ya but most people aren't cloning thousands. And rdwc is the best for growing anything that you have room for. I love it. I use Rockwood though.
@@matthewotis3594 we used to clone in dirt but it took up to much of a footprint in the greenhouse. We use rockwool sometimes here. Thanks for watching. We enjoy the feedback.
@@TheSeedExchange coco is way better than dirt unless you're growing organic but you could still clone in an aero loner. I got my trumpets in water, dwc, and a few in coco. I love doing side by sides. Learn for yourself and won't have to take everyone's opinion. Thanks for sharing and good luck with your future grows.
did you check the roots? sometimes they still sprout with no roots
nevermind, I see they rooted. What zone are you in? Thanks
so did it root?
Any videos without the real proof of the roots is just a waste of time. Maybe the guy is right but the Internet is full of fake, so unless is wit the proof, is useless Sorry about it
I have these growing in the drainage area by the main road in the front of my house. The county maintains that area and will mow them down but they bounce right back. I took some cuttings about 10 days ago from smaller sections of the plant (I had not seen your videos yet). I was amazed at how fast the roots appeared and they keep getting longer and look healthy. I found your video while looking for the next step. I think they are ready to try in some dirt. The area I want to test planting them in gets no direct sun. It is in a planter bed and it does retain water so I think that part is good. My concern is the indirect light. Can you share your experience about this? I am new to the south and to these plants. Thanks.
Hi. These are very hardy plants. They survive the cold well here in north Carolina. If they have good roots I would go ahead and transplant in some dirt. I have them in shady areas and sunny areas I haven't been able to tell much of a difference. In the sunny areas during the summer the heat affects the leaves and in the shady area the heat doesn't bother the leaves. I hope this helps some. Welcome to the south. Thanks for watching
Planting in full sun produces more flowers. In the shade they produce more foliage than flowers.
The next video you do please don’t do the wording like this. It is very hard to read and very slow. I’d like to if she watching the video but I just can’t.
Thank you for the suggestion. This was one of our first videos. We have learned a lot since then. Thank you again and stick around for more video's
@@TheSeedExchange This was my first video i watched from you however I like the content. I just planted my plumerias today after watching this video so fingures crossed they do well. Thks
How do plant them?
After they have night roots I use a potting soil mix from Lowes or Walmart to get them started in dirt
Thanks home boy. Just cut down a massive yellow bell.Im in Snow Camp NC.Around Burlington NC. Thanks for the Great advice.Happy Planting
No problem. These grow great in North Carolina, and are easy to root for more plants

Hi thanks for watching
So cute! You're lucky.
Thanks for watching. I didn't find any nest this year while gardening
What medium do you tall phlox cuttings in and where do you put them? Greenhouse or north side in shade?
I use potting soil or seed starting mix when in dirt. But I also use hydroponic to do some cuttings. Cuttings I always keep out of direct sunlight until rooted well.
Nice job !!
Thanks for watching.

Can you trust that the seeds will actually turn into what is on the photo? I wanted to get seeds but heard they are almost always white, no matter what the mother was.
If you can get seeds from a reputable source then you have a good chance of getting a cross. It probably won't be just like the mother plant because you don't know what it was pollenated with. I like cuttings because they will be just like the mother plant they were cut from. Thank you for watching. If you have anymore questions feel free to comment.
i just bought the seeds and received it , i relly wn to try
They are pretty easy to grow sometimes it takes a little while for them to come up. But once they do they grow fast.
