Hey thanks for watching. The water could be a little to cool you could add a heat pad under them to help promote root growth. Light cycles also play a part in plant growth. I would try to make sure they have at least 12hr of light. Not direct sunlight because that is harsh for plants trying to root. I hope this helps. Thanks again

I have these growing in the drainage area by the main road in the front of my house. The county maintains that area and will mow them down but they bounce right back. I took some cuttings about 10 days ago from smaller sections of the plant (I had not seen your videos yet). I was amazed at how fast the roots appeared and they keep getting longer and look healthy. I found your video while looking for the next step. I think they are ready to try in some dirt. The area I want to test planting them in gets no direct sun. It is in a planter bed and it does retain water so I think that part is good. My concern is the indirect light. Can you share your experience about this? I am new to the south and to these plants. Thanks.

Hi. These are very hardy plants. They survive the cold well here in north Carolina. If they have good roots I would go ahead and transplant in some dirt. I have them in shady areas and sunny areas I haven't been able to tell much of a difference. In the sunny areas during the summer the heat affects the leaves and in the shady area the heat doesn't bother the leaves. I hope this helps some. Welcome to the south. Thanks for watching
